KRD Level and Flow Data
During the irrigation season, the "Levels" computer at the KRD office requests data from the remote gagestations every two hours, starting at midnight. The polling of 22 gagestations takes approximately 17 minutes. When the poll is completed, the information is dumped to a database. The last three polls are compiled into a plain text file, and corresponding flows are calculated. They can be viewed here:

Note that all data is provisional.
Stations with a weir have an unchanging water level to flow relationship, but the open channel creek sites have to be rated every season, especially after high runoff events that significantly alter the channel. As the water levels drop, the creek's flow is measured and a best-fit equation is updated on the Levels computer. The flow for a given level will change on the creek sites as better flow data is collected.
